Q: May I drop my children off?
A: NO. Because this is a family event, we require that each child have the supervision of a parent or guardian while participating.
Q: If I don’t register before March 31st, may my child still participate?
A: YES. Pre-registration helps us to adequately prepare for the number of children who will be attending the Special Egg Event.
Q: Is there a cost for this event?
A: NO. This event is being organized by Springdale First Church in partnership with businesses, organizations, and individuals as sponsors to assure there is no cost to the families participating in the Wonderfully Made Easter Egg Hunt. We realize that events like this are not common and we want you to enjoy it without being charged an entry fee to have fun.
Q: What are the egg hunt times?
A: 3-5pm – Check-in will be from 3:00 – 3:30 pm and the first Egg Hunt will start at 3:30pm. Each egg hunt will take place in 20 minute intervals. Specific start times will vary depending on the egg hunt your child will participate in. A schedule of each egg hunt start time will be provided at the event.
Q: What happens if the weather is bad?
Q: What should my family and I expect at this event?
A: In addition to the egg hunts, there will be games, cotton candy, popcorn and snow cones, team mascots, kid-friendly characters, face painting and more! Plan on coming out and spending a great time enjoying this fabulous, family friendly atmosphere. You never know who you’ll meet!
Q: What type of food and candy will be provided?
A: All candy will be individually wrapped. Non-food prizes will be available for those with specific food allergies.
Q: Who is staffing this event?
A: The Wonderfully Made Egg Hunt is staffed by volunteers from Springdale First Church as well as other approved volunteers from the community.
Q: Who’s sponsoring this event?
A: This event is an outreach ministry of children and family ministries of Springdale First United Methodist Church and its Family Ministry.
Q: Will this be a safe event?
A: YES. Our goal is to provide a safe environment for all children. Volunteers have been background checked.
